Greenaway Beach, a quiet cove with rock pools, is 800 metres to the north.

The church of St Enodoc, where poet John Betjeman is buried, sits among the dunes between the property and Rock. Polzeath, with its surf schools, is 1.1 miles north. The water taxi from Rock crosses the estuary to Padstow's restaurants. Ample off-road parking is available.
