Harbourside Retreat

Harbourside Retreat is a second-floor apartment on the quay in Looe, looking across the river towards West Looe. The living and dining room opens onto a balcony with outdoor seating and river views.

There are two bedrooms: a double, and a second, a family room with bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, and there is a TV, WiFi, gas central heating and a highchair. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included.

Stairs lead up to the apartment, and cars go in one of the public car parks nearby. The shop is 0.2 miles away, the pub 0.1 miles, the river 0.1 miles and the beach 0.2 miles. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and a good housekeeping bond applies.

Looe's sandy beach adjoins the pier, and Hannafore has a rock pool area. A river taxi runs between East and West Looe, and the station is a short stroll away for guests arriving by train. Polperro is 5 miles away, and the Eden Project, Fowey and Bodmin Moor are named among the days out from here.

It suits a family or friends travelling with dogs who are happy to climb stairs from the car park; it is less good for anyone wanting to park at the door.
