Hazel Cottage is a detached three-bedroom cottage on Molesworth Street in Tintagel village, sleeping six. It sits within 200 metres of the local shops and pub, and Bossiney Cove Beach - a low-tide sandy cove with caves and turquoise water - is under a mile away.

The layout has a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, two twin bedrooms, and a shared bathroom with corner bath. A ground-floor cloakroom provides extra convenience. The kitchen-diner connects to a utility room fitted with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Oil underfloor heating runs throughout, and the sitting room is the main gathering space. Off-road parking fits two cars.

Outside, an enclosed garden with patio and decking seats the full group. The garden is secure and level. Tintagel Castle (English Heritage) is a short walk from the cottage - adult entry is £14.80, and its 2019 footbridge spans a 58-metre gorge above the sea. Rocky Valley, starting from Bossiney car park, follows a wooded stream past ruined mills and rock-carved labyrinths thought to be over 3,000 years old. St Nectan's Glen, with its 60-foot waterfall, is a few minutes' drive. Tregardock Beach - more remote and surf-exposed - is around 3 miles up the coast.

**Best for:** Families or groups who want to explore the Tintagel area from a village-centre base, with everything on foot. **Less good for:** Coastal views or beach walks from the door - the nearest coves involve a short drive or walk.
