Coverack beach is 900 metres away - a sheltered harbour cove with calm water, a lifeboat station, and the Paris Hotel above the sea wall. Porthoustock, a working aggregate beach used by cargo vessels, is 3.2 miles north. Cadgwith, a small fishing village with a thatched pub and two working boats still hauling crab pots, is 4 miles south along the coast path. Kennack Sands - a broader beach in a National Landscape (formerly AONB) - lies between the two. Changeover is Friday.

Best for couples who want a quiet base on the Lizard, within walking distance of the sea. Less good for dogs or anyone expecting in-apartment dining facilities (no dishwasher).
