Mermaid Cottage

Mermaid Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage in Coverack for three guests, a fishing village on the Lizard's eastern coast with a working harbour protected by a stone breakwater. Both bedrooms share one bathroom.

Porthoustock Beach is 2.7 miles and Cadgwith Beach is 4.4 miles, reached along a coast path that passes through the rare serpentine and gabbro rock formations that make this stretch of coast internationally significant to geologists.

The village itself has a shop, a gallery and the Lifeboat House tea room around the harbour, and the coast is sheltered from westerly winds, making the bay popular for swimming and snorkelling. Helston, with its wider choice of shops, is about ten miles north.
