Heightley House

Heightley House is a three-bedroom terraced cottage in Treknow, a small hamlet on the north Cornwall coast set between Tintagel and Boscastle. It sleeps six across two bathrooms and has accessible features throughout - suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Treknow sits on elevated ground above the coast. Bossiney Cove is 1.7 miles - a narrow sea inlet reached via a steep path, passable but not suitable for pushchairs. Tregardock Beach, a remote north-facing strand with no facilities, is 1.9 miles along the cliffs. Tintagel Castle, the clifftop ruins associated with the Arthurian legends, is roughly 0.9 miles away. The South West Coast Path runs through the area; Trebarwith Strand - sandy at low tide, accessed down a steep lane with limited parking - is about 1.2 miles south. Port Gaverne, a sheltered cove near Port Isaac, is 4.9 miles by road.

Best for three-generation families or a group of six needing dog-friendly, accessible accommodation on the north Cornwall coast. Less good for anyone wanting to be within walking distance of shops or restaurants - the nearest facilities are in Tintagel village.
