Heylyn Cottage

Heylyn Cottage is a three-bedroom cottage at Helford Passage on the south bank of the Helford River. It sleeps two but has capacity for up to six across three bedrooms - useful for a group wanting separate rooms. The Ferry Boat Inn, the sandy beach, and the foot ferry across to Helford village are all reached on foot.

Inside, the layout runs across three bedrooms and one bathroom, with a living area and a well-fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Wifi runs throughout, and the entrance is accessible for guests with mobility requirements.

Outside, the cottage shares on-site facilities with neighbouring properties, including a heated outdoor swimming pool. The pool is open through the main season for swimming and cooling off after beach visits. Private parking and a garden are included. The beach at Helford Passage is a short walk for paddleboarding and kayak launches.

Best for couples or small groups who want a riverside base with easy access to the Helford estuary, National Trust gardens, and the quieter south Cornwall coast. Trebah Garden and Glendurgan are within a few miles; Falmouth and its National Maritime Museum are around 20 minutes by road. Less good for those wanting surf beaches - the north coast is 45 minutes away.
