Halliards is a ground-floor three-bedroom apartment at Helford Passage in west Cornwall, sleeping six. The property sits directly above the beach, a short walk from the Ferryboat Inn. Recently renovated to add a third bedroom, the apartment has been refurbished in a contemporary style with two bathrooms.

Inside, the layout runs across a single level with French doors opening onto a private terrace. The interior has ramp access to the terrace over a slightly raised sill, and the whole flat is on one level apart from one step into the shower cubicle. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine are provided, and parking is on-site.

Outside, the sunny terrace has outdoor furniture and a barbecue. A heated outdoor swimming pool is available to guests from 1 May to the end of September, and kayaks and paddleboards can be hired from the beach. A shared garden adjoins the site.

Helford Passage Beach sits directly below the apartment, with Ponsence Cove 1 mile along the coast path and Porth Saxon 1.1 miles towards the Helford mouth. The Ferryboat Inn, specialising in seafood, is a short walk along the quay. A foot passenger ferry crosses the river to Helford village, giving access to Frenchman's Creek and the Shipwrights Arms. Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens are a short drive away, and Falmouth is about 25 minutes by car.

Best for a family or group of six wanting a ground-floor apartment right on the beach with mostly step-free access. Less good for wheelchair users needing full step-free access - there is one step into the shower cubicle.
