Hideaway and Tremayne are two St Ives cottages connected by a shared door and sold together, sleeping eleven across five bedrooms. The layout suits large families or two smaller groups who want a degree of separation while sharing communal space. Bedrooms split across two doubles, a small double with a 3-foot single, a further small double, and a twin - providing enough variation for mixed parties. Four bathrooms serve the eleven guests.

Porthminster Beach is 100 metres from the front door - one of the most reliably sheltered beaches in St Ives, facing south-east and generally calm in westerly winds. St Ives Harbour Beach adds a second sandy option 200 metres away. For surfers in the group, Porthmeor Beach on the north-facing Atlantic side is 500 metres distant.

Each property has its own enclosed courtyard with garden furniture, giving the two groups a separate outdoor space. The bi-fold dining setup makes alfresco meals practical in summer. Tate St Ives sits within a short walk along the coastal path, and the town's galleries, fish restaurants, and independent shops are accessible on foot - no car needed during the stay.

Best for large families or two connected groups wanting a St Ives base with parking for three cars and up to three dogs. Less good for couples or small parties where the scale and cost of both properties may not be warranted. The location delivers strong beach access and town connectivity, but those wanting complete privacy across the group should note the shared-door arrangement.
