Hillscroft

Hillscroft is a detached period cottage for six in Treknow, near Tintagel on the north Cornwall coast. A king-size room, a double and a twin are each served by their own bathroom, an unusually generous ratio of three bathrooms for six guests. A separate living and TV room gives the household a second place to sit away from the main lounge.

The tiered garden and patio have distant sea views and room for a barbecue. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to two dogs can stay. There is no wood burner or open fire, so the cottage relies on central heating rather than a fireplace for cooler evenings.

Trebarwith Strand is a half-mile walk from the cottage. Bossiney Cove Beach is 1.7 miles away, Tregardock Beach 1.9 miles and Port Gaverne Beach 5 miles, giving a choice of beaches within a short drive or walk.
