Hillscroft

Hillscroft is a detached period cottage for six in Treknow, near Tintagel on the north Cornwall coast. A king-size room, a double and a twin are each served by their own bathroom, an unusually generous ratio of three bathrooms for six guests. A separate living and TV room gives the household a second place to sit away from the main lounge.

The tiered garden and patio have distant sea views and room for a barbecue. The open-plan living and dining space looks across the valley, and the ground floor has a shower room with WC. The raised decking and patio has a corner sofa and sun loungers. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and up to two dogs can stay.

Trebarwith Strand is a half-mile walk from the cottage. Bossiney Cove Beach is 1.7 miles away, Tregardock Beach 1.9 miles and Port Gaverne Beach 5 miles, giving a choice of beaches within a short drive or walk. Tintagel Castle and its clifftop footbridge, along with Merlin's Cave beneath it, sit within the wider village for a day out.

**Best for:** families or groups of friends wanting three separate bathrooms, a spare TV room, distant sea views and easy walking to Trebarwith Strand.

**Less good for:** EV drivers, or anyone needing confirmed step-free access.
