Hillywych Studio is a two-bedroom cottage on Sunnyvale Road in Portreath, a north coast beach village in central Cornwall. The property sits 600 metres from Portreath Beach, with its reliable Atlantic surf and historic harbour.

Inside, an open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a gas flame-effect fire. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, kettle tap, and microwave. One king-size and one twin bedroom sit upstairs, sharing a bathroom with bath, rainfall shower over, basin and WC. A Smart TV with Netflix is provided, along with WiFi throughout.

The rear enclosed garden has patio furniture and a hot outdoor shower - useful for washing off sand after the beach. Off-road parking sits at the front. Portreath Beach is a 10-minute walk, with firm sand at low tide and lifeguard cover in summer. Godrevy Beach, the wide National Trust strand with views of Godrevy Lighthouse, is 5.1 miles along the coast.

Portreath village has a handful of cafes, a pub, and a beach shop. The Coast to Coast mineral tramway cycle trail to Devoran starts here, and the coast path west toward Porthtowan passes dramatic cliff scenery and remains of clifftop mine workings. Up to 2 dogs are welcome.
