Island View The Meadow

Island View is a four-bedroom cottage across three floors in central St Ives, sleeping 7 close to the harbour. A double, two twins and a single give three separate room types, sharing two bathrooms between them.

The top-floor roof terrace is the cottage's main private outside space, with seating built in for outdoor dining, and a garden is also recorded on site. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included. Dogs are not accepted. Steps lead up to the front door. The lounge has wooden floors, there is a separate dining room with a table and chairs, and the kitchen has been recently renovated. A ground-floor shower room adds to the first-floor bathroom.

Porthmeor Beach is 100 metres from the front door, home to the Tate St Ives gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden a short walk further on. St Ives Harbour Beach is 300 metres away and Porthgwidden Beach is 400 metres, so all three beaches sit within five minutes on foot. The town's narrow streets of galleries, cafes and fish restaurants run down to the harbour, and Carbis Bay is roughly 2 miles along the coast path. The St Ives guide covers the wider town.

**Best for:** families or groups of up to seven wanting three separate bedroom types and Porthmeor Beach on the doorstep. **Less good for:** dog owners, or anyone unable to manage stairs across three floors.
