Jorick

Jorick is a Fowey cottage sleeping 6, with three conventional bedrooms and a separate nursery room bringing the total to four. The two king-size bedrooms and one twin form the main sleeping arrangement; the nursery adds flexibility but should not be assumed to hold a permanent bed.

There are two bathrooms: a first-floor bathroom with a shower over the bath, and an en-suite shower room off the second-floor king-size bedroom. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included, and a wood burner heats the living room. Dogs are not accepted. Parking is provided, and a small terrace runs along the back of the cottage with views over the town towards the church and river.

Readymoney Cove is 900 metres away on foot, close to St Catherine's Castle at the harbour mouth. Lantic Bay is 1.4 miles along the coast path and Lansallos Beach is 2.6 miles from the cottage. Fowey's quay is a short walk for river trips, the Polruan passenger ferry and waterfront pubs, and the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are both reachable as day trips. **Best for:** a family wanting two king rooms, a twin, nursery space and a walkable harbour. **Less good for:** six guests wanting more than two bathrooms or a confirmed nursery bed setup.
