Pentewan Beach is just 300m away - a 400-metre stretch of golden sand that is lifeguarded in summer and popular for kayaking. Porthpean Beach, a sheltered family cove with rock pools, is 2.2 miles along the coast. The Pentewan Valley Trail runs 3 miles to St Austell along a flat, traffic-free route, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are 2 miles south.

Best for couples or a small family wanting a beach-close base 300 metres from Pentewan sands, with an EV charger on site. Less good for anyone with mobility needs - there are steps up to the property and a slope down to the front decking.
