Kate Cottage

Kate Cottage is a three-bedroom cottage for six on the private Cant Farm estate in Rock, directly on the bank of the Camel Estuary. Uninterrupted river views run from the grounds, a position few other Rock properties can match.

A king-size room, a twin and a single with an additional truckle bed sleep the six guests, served by two bathrooms. A wood burner heats the living room and there's a BBQ and garden for outdoor meals. WiFi, parking and a washing machine are included, but there is no dishwasher. Dogs are not accepted.

The estate itself is part of the draw: private grounds with woodland walks, rolling lawns and a shared tennis court, set back from the road. Daymer Bay is 2.2 miles away, Greenaway Beach 2.5 miles and Polzeath Beach 2.9 miles, so three different beaches sit within a short drive.

Rock's harbour, shops, restaurants and golf course are under two miles from the cottage. A water taxi crosses the estuary to Padstow every 20 minutes, and the Camel Trail cycle path follows the water from the village.

**Best for:** A family or two couples wanting estuary views, private estate grounds, a tennis court and easy access to several beaches.

**Less good for:** Guests bringing dogs, needing a dishwasher, or wanting step-free access or a beach within walking distance.
