Mousehole Beach is 100m from the door. Lamorna Cove lies 2.9km south along a narrow valley road, leading to a sheltered granite cove with good rock pools at low tide. Penzance is around 3 miles north - useful for supermarkets, the railway station, and the Scilly ferry. The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is about 7 miles along the coast road, with evening performances running May to September.

Best for couples or families with a dog who want direct harbour access without needing to drive to the beach every day. Less suited to those needing multiple parking spaces - Mousehole's lanes are narrow and the village fills up in July and August.
