Mullion village is compact and walkable: a Co-Op, fish and chip shop, and several pubs are all within five minutes. Polurrian Beach (0.8km) is a broad south-facing beach with surf potential. Mullion Cove (1.5km) has a working harbour and National Trust cliffs. Poldhu Cove (1.6km) carries historical weight as the site where Marconi transmitted the first transatlantic wireless signal in 1901.
