Gyllyngvase (0.8km) is broader and more social, with a beach cafe that opens most of the year. Castle Beach (1.7km) gives access to the South West Coast Path around Pendennis Point. Falmouth town centre is about 1.5km, accessible by the seafront path.

Good for a wheelchair-accessible couple's base with two quality beaches in easy walking distance. Less suited to families needing more than two beds, or guests wanting to be in the thick of Falmouth's harbour and restaurant scene - Swanpool is quieter and more residential.
