All three are reachable without a car, which is useful given Falmouth's limited town-centre parking.

Falmouth town centre is around 2km from Swanpool on foot or a short drive. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is on the waterfront and well worth the entry fee. Pendennis Castle (English Heritage) sits on the headland above Castle Beach, around 30 minutes on foot from the cottage. The Falmouth to St Mawes ferry runs from the town quay and makes a straightforward half-day trip without driving.

Ideal for a couple wanting a quiet, well-located Falmouth base with the dog - the nature reserve setting and two beaches within walking distance make it a strong choice for those who want to explore on foot. Less good for anyone needing more than 2 guests or a second bedroom. The compact size and single bathroom limit the appeal for groups.
