Lamorna

Lamorna has three bedrooms and two bathrooms on one level, in the main stone courtyard of Tresooth Cottages at Mawnan Smith. It sleeps six, and every bedroom can be arranged as a super-king or as twin beds if the owner is asked in advance.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and WC, and a separate shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. In the open-plan living space, exposed beams run over the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, and there is a workspace with a desk and a corner sofa. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine. A Smart TV with Freeview and streaming, plus superfast WiFi, are included, as are central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

The patio has a bench and looks over the courtyard and its flower beds. Cottage guests share the outdoor heated swimming pool, which is open from Easter to September with no lifeguard on duty, so children need a parent or an adult over 18. The sauna and the indoor and outdoor hot tubs run year-round, and there are a games room and a children's play area. Shared EV charging points are paid for via the Monta app.

Ample off-road parking is provided. A highchair, travel cot or stair gate can be arranged for an extra charge. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and further dogs can be agreed with the owner beforehand. Smoking is not allowed. Hen and stag parties need approval before booking, and in the school summer holidays only 7-night bookings are taken. The shop is 0.5 miles off, the pub 1.8 miles. Lamorna suits three couples wanting their own rooms, or a family.
