Lanyon is a reverse-level three-bedroom cottage on Burthallan Lane in St Ives, sleeping six. The upper floor holds an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and sitting room with an open fire - an arrangement that makes the most of the elevated site. Three bedrooms sit below on the ground floor.

The bedroom configuration is flexible: a super-king (zip-link, convertible to twin), a king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, and a second twin (also zip-link). A ground-floor bathroom has a bath and shower over; a first-floor shower room serves the living level. The kitchen runs to a double oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, and separate freezer. A balcony adjoins the living room.

Outside, a private garden has decking, furniture, and a built-in charcoal BBQ. Off-road parking is on site. Porthmeor Beach - the Atlantic surf beach directly below Tate St Ives - is 800 metres away. St Ives Harbour Beach, sheltered by Smeaton's Pier, is 900 metres in the other direction. Porthminster Beach is 1km to the south.

St Ives town centre is a 10-minute walk, with Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden, the narrow Fore Street shops, and multiple restaurants in range. A convenience store sits 0.1 miles from the front door.

Best for groups of six who want St Ives beaches within walking distance and a flexible bedroom layout. Less good for anyone who finds stairs difficult - the main living space is on the upper floor.
