Little May

Little May is a single-storey one-bedroom cottage in the hamlet of Treisaac, 3 miles from Newquay, sleeping two with one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor, including a shower room, but there are two steps up to the front door. A large grassed area adjoins the property and dogs are welcome. Wifi is included, with off-road parking for 2 cars.

Watergate Bay is 2.1 miles away, a 2-mile stretch of open sand popular with surfers and families. The Extreme Academy surf school operates from the beach. Whipsiderry Beach is 2.4 miles and Mawgan Porth is 3.2 miles north, giving a cluster of north Newquay beaches within easy driving range. Newquay town centre and Fistral Beach are about 15 minutes south.

Treisaac is a small rural hamlet a few miles inland from the north coast. The nearest shop is 2 miles away and the nearest pub 3 miles. The surrounding lanes are quiet and the area suits guests wanting access to the coast without being in the bustle of Newquay itself during the peak summer months. The A392 and A3059 give fast access to Newquay in one direction and the A30 trunk road in the other.

Right for couples or solo travellers who want a dog-friendly base near Watergate Bay. Saturday changeover. Check-in is from 3:00 pm on arrival day and check-out is by 10:00 am on departure day.
