Lost In The Woods Lodge

Lost In The Woods Lodge is a detached house on the outskirts of Bodmin, 3 miles from the town, with a garden built around a hot tub. Beside it are a fire pit, a barbecue and a furnished patio. The front garden has swings, a slide, a climbing frame and a trampoline, and children must be supervised near them and the hot tub.

Inside, the open-plan living space combines a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. The range cooker has a gas hob, and there is a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. A study sits off the main space. Four bedrooms take eight guests: two king-size and two queen-size. There is a bathroom with a bath and a shower room with a walk-in shower.

Fuel, power, bed linen, towels and a stove starter pack are included, and a highchair and travel cot can be requested. The Cardinham Woods mountain bike trail passes as near as 100 metres from the house, and Lanhydrock Estate has walking and cycling trails. The house is 25 minutes from either coast. The nearest shop is 2.3 miles away and the pub 3 miles.

There are steps up to the property, so take care. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is outside only. It suits families, with a cot and highchair on request, and two couples sharing; children need supervising around the play equipment and hot tub, and the steps at the entrance need care.
