Lower Pengelly

Lower Pengelly is a traditional stone cottage for nine near Blisland. Five bedrooms comprise two king-size rooms, a double with walk-in wardrobe, a twin zip-and-link that can become a king-size when requested, and a single. Three bathrooms serve the group.

The main lounge has a wood burner, while a second lounge gives a larger party another place to sit. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included. Outside, the enclosed garden contains a hot tub, barbecue and play area, with views across open farmland where horses graze. Up to two dogs are accepted.

The setting lies within a National Landscape, formerly called an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Camel Trail cycle path is 1.5 miles away and Pencarrow House and Gardens 4 miles away. The coast requires a drive: Port Gaverne Beach is 8.7 miles away and Tregardock Beach 8.8 miles away. The Blisland guide covers the nearest village and surrounding moorland.

**Best for:** an extended family wanting five distinct bedrooms, three bathrooms, two lounges, a play area and hot tub with room for two dogs. **Less good for:** guests seeking beaches within walking distance, step-free access, EV charging, a sea view or a compact property where everyone shares one living space.
