Loveny Cottage sleeps six at Two Waters Foot, a wooded hamlet where the East and West Looe rivers meet, with Cardinham the nearest larger settlement. A king-size bedroom and two twin rooms give the layout useful flexibility for a family or group of friends who don't all want double beds, and two bathrooms serve the three rooms.

The cottage sits within 7.5 acres of private woodland, with its own lakes and rivers for wild swimming and fishing, and marked walking trails through the grounds. A private garden adds outdoor dining space and a lawn. Inside, a wood burner and WiFi are joined by a dishwasher, though there is no washing machine, so guests on longer stays should plan around laundrettes in Liskeard or Bodmin. Parking and a barbecue are included, and up to three dogs can stay.

This is a woodland base rather than a beachside one: Lansallos Beach is 8.9 miles away, Readymoney Cove 9.1 miles and Lantic Bay 9.2 miles. Fallow deer are often seen in the valley at dawn and dusk, and Liskeard's mainline station, 5 miles north, connects to Plymouth and Penzance.
