Lowena Lodge

Lowena Lodge is a single-storey lodge on Whitsand Bay Holiday Park, about 1.2 miles from the village of Millbrook and 0.3 miles from the beach. Wraparound decking goes round the lodge, and the views from it and the living room reach towards Dartmoor and Plymouth.

The living space is open-plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a TV. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster. There is WiFi, central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Of the three bedrooms, one is a double with an en-suite walk-in shower, and two are twins. A separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over. Guests have free use of the park's indoor heated swimming pool on bookable sessions, plus the pub and restaurant; the gym is paid for separately. Parking is in the communal car park.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, though the number of dogs isn't stated, so confirm it when booking. Smoking is not allowed. The lodge suits a family or two couples who want park facilities close by; with a pub 0.1 miles away and the shop 1.4 miles off, it is less good for anyone who wants shops on the doorstep.
