Lyonesse

Lyonesse is a three-bedroom house for six within the Tregenna Castle Resort grounds near St Ives. Two bedrooms have super king beds. The third is a twin zip-link that can be prepared as a super king on request, giving a group some flexibility. Three bathrooms match the bedroom count.

Guests have the use of manicured gardens, an on-site golf course and a seasonal swimming pool. The house itself includes WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and garden space. Dogs are not accepted.

Porthminster Beach is 900 metres away, Carbis Bay is 0.6 miles away and St Ives Harbour Beach is 0.7 miles away. That gives several beaches within reach of the resort, though the house itself does not overlook the water.

St Ives has four beaches and the Tate St Ives gallery on Porthmeor, and has drawn painters and sculptors to work in the Atlantic light since the 1880s. Carbis Bay, the nearer village, has a rail halt on the St Ives Bay Line, so the town centre is one stop away without moving the car.

**Best for:** Families or friends wanting three bathrooms, flexible beds, resort grounds and a seasonal pool near several beaches.

**Less good for:** Guests seeking a stated dog limit or step-free access.
