Two dogs are welcome but must stay on leads across the working sheep farm. Parking for two cars is on site. Trevone Bay is 4.8 miles away - a sandy north-facing beach with rock pools at low tide. Daymer Bay is about 5 miles, a sheltered family beach at the Camel Estuary mouth. Padstow harbour, Rick Stein's restaurants, and the Camel Trail cycle path are all reachable in around 10 minutes by car.

The Camel Trail, an 18-mile off-road route along a disused railway line, connects Wadebridge (3 miles southeast) to Padstow and onwards to Bodmin. The trail starts in Wadebridge, making this cottage a convenient base for cyclists and walkers alongside families visiting the north Cornwall coast.

**Best for:** Families of up to 6 wanting a rural farm setting with outdoor space, a wood burner, and easy access to Padstow and the north Cornwall beaches. Two dogs welcome.

**Less good for:** Guests wanting to walk to the beach or the village - the countryside setting requires a car for most outings.
