Meadow Cottage

Meadow Cottage is a three-bedroom character cottage in Golant, a quiet riverside village on the west bank of the Fowey estuary. All three bedrooms and the bathroom sit on the ground floor, making it a practical option for guests with limited mobility.

The cottage sleeps six across a king-size double, a standard double, and a twin room. The ground-floor bathroom has a bath, shower, and WC, with a separate cloakroom. The sitting room includes a dining area and an electric log-effect fire. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washer/dryer.

Outside, an enclosed lawned garden has furniture and a gas BBQ. Off-road parking accommodates two cars. The Fisherman's Arms pub and a small shop are about a 10-minute walk from the front door.

Golant sits roughly 2 miles north of Fowey town, accessible on foot via National Trust woodland at Pont Pill in about 40 minutes. Readymoney Cove - a sheltered sandy beach below St Catherine's Castle - is 2.5 miles away, while Lantic Bay, a dramatic National Trust bay with year-round dog access, lies 3.3 miles to the east. The Saints Way long-distance path passes through the village, and kayaks can be launched from Golant's quay.
