Netherbridge Bay

Netherbridge Bay is a two-bedroom cottage for four near Widemouth Bay, the broad, south-facing surf beach three miles south of Bude. A double and a twin room share a single bathroom, and panoramic views take in the bay and surrounding countryside.

Guests share an indoor swimming pool, steam room, gym, games room and bar on site, and a patio gives another spot to sit outside beyond the garden. Parking is included, and dogs can stay without a stated limit. Tennis courts are available from the start of the Easter holidays until the end of October half term, and the gym is open all year round. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has a Smart TV and a dining table beside a large window, and the double bedroom has sea views.

Widemouth Bay itself is 900m away, close enough to reach the beach's cafe, surf schools and seasonal lifeguard cover on foot. Millook Beach is 1.2 miles from the cottage and Summerleaze Beach 3.4 miles. The South West Coast Path runs along the cliffs in both directions from Widemouth Bay, north toward Bude in about an hour's walk.

**Best for:** a family wanting shared pool and leisure facilities, sea views and a dog-friendly stay near Widemouth Bay.

**Less good for:** guests dependent on laundry, or anyone wanting more than one bathroom.
