Beach Combers is a 4-star rated, 2-bedroom cottage at Widemouth Bay, 300 metres from the beach with sea views throughout. The cottage sleeps 4 across 1 double and 1 twin room (convertible to a king on request), with 1 bathroom. The contemporary interior is matched by a practical spec for a surf holiday base.

The living space has a wood burner for evenings after a day in the water. Outside, a dog-friendly garden, a BBQ, and EV charging make it a well-equipped option for those arriving by electric vehicle. Parking is included. The cottage has no wifi, which is worth noting before booking. Dogs are welcome.

Widemouth Bay beach is a half-mile walk - a broad, south-facing sandy beach with consistent Atlantic swell, surf hire, and lifeguard cover from May to September. Several surf schools operate here. Millook Beach, a quieter stretch of sand and shingle in a steep cove, is around 2 miles south. Bude is 2 miles north, with supermarkets, the Bude Canal walking route, a tidal sea pool, and Bude Castle Heritage Centre. The coast path runs in both directions along the cliffs from the bay.
