Nori's Nest, Shepherds Hut, Croft Hooper

Nori's Nest is a shepherd's hut at Croft Hooper farm near Crowlas, sleeping 2 with a private hot tub and BBQ area. It sits in open countryside west of Penzance, roughly 10 minutes' drive from the town centre.

The hut is compact by design - one bedroom, one bathroom, fitted kitchen - and comes with Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The bed is a queen size, the bathroom has an electric shower, and check-in is from 4pm with check-out by 10am. The real draw is outside: the hot tub and garden give the property a self-contained feel that larger cottages in this area rarely match.

Marazion Beach is 1.7 miles east, with St Michael's Mount visible from the shore at low tide when the causeway opens. Long Rock Beach is 1.9 miles and Eastern Green Beach 2.5 miles. Penzance town centre - with the Penlee House gallery, the Art Deco Jubilee Pool lido, and a full range of restaurants and shops - is about 10 minutes by car. The Isles of Scilly ferry departs from Penzance harbour.

Best for couples wanting a quiet rural base with easy access to the Penzance and Marazion coastline. Less suited to anyone who needs a full-size kitchen or dislikes compact interiors.
