Offerd Cottage is a two-bedroom house for five at Trenant Farm, two miles from Looe, and one of five properties converted from a former coach house and stables. The farmland setting with open log fires and antique furnishings makes for a different proposition to the harbour-end cottages in town - more country house, less fishing village.

Inside, the layout covers a master bedroom, a triple bedroom and a single bathroom, with an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. Equipment includes wi-fi, a dishwasher, a washing machine and accessibility features. The open fire is the focal point in the sitting room on colder evenings. Dogs are welcome.

The property has its own private cottage garden set within Trenant's mature parkland, shared by the five conversions. Parking is included. Looe itself is 2 miles by road - the working harbour, Hannafore Beach and the independent shops on West Looe's main street are all accessible from there. Polperro is a few miles further west along the coast, reachable on the South West Coast Path direct from Looe for a full day out on foot.

Best for families or mixed groups who want a rural retreat with easy access to a proper town and beach. Less good for anyone set on a harbour-front or village-centre location.
