Opeway Cottage is a three-bedroom, four-storey cottage on Baileys Lane in the centre of St Ives, sleeping six across two double rooms and one twin. The top-floor double has sloping ceilings and sea and harbour views.

Two bathrooms serve the three bedrooms, spread over four narrow floors rather than a single level, so guests should expect stairs throughout the stay. WiFi, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer are included, along with parking. Dogs are not accepted. The kitchen is at entrance level from Baileys Lane, with the lounge and dining room on the first floor above it, and every bedroom has a TV.

The central position trades outdoor space for genuinely short beach distances. Porthmeor Beach, a lifeguarded Atlantic surf break below the Tate St Ives gallery, is 200 metres away, as is St Ives Harbour Beach. Porthgwidden Beach is 300m from the cottage, putting three named beaches within a five-minute walk. The town's artists' colony, running since the 1880s, and its harbourside restaurants are all within easy reach on foot.
