Wadebridge itself has the supermarkets, cafes, and independent shops you want after a day outdoors, and it makes a practical base for the north Cornwall coast.

Daymer Bay is the nearest listed beach at about 6 miles - a sheltered sandy bay on the Camel estuary, popular with families and paddleboarders, with seasonal lifeguard cover and a beach cafe. Greenaway Beach, reached on foot via the coast path from Daymer Bay, is 6.4 miles from the hut. Port Gaverne, 6.5 miles away, is a small cove east of Port Isaac with a pub and a seasonal cafe.
