Pendeenah

Pendeenah is a five-bedroom lodge on the hillside above Polzeath, sleeping 11 with sea views and direct access to the South West Coast Path. Polzeath Beach is 300 metres away on foot.

The property runs on a reverse-level layout: all 5 bedrooms occupy the ground floor, with the main living spaces above to capture the sea view. Bedrooms include 3 super-king rooms (2 en-suite with patio doors to the garden), a zip-and-link room convertible to twins, and a bunk room with an additional cabin bed - sleeping up to 11 in total. Two family bathrooms and a wet room serve the non-en-suite rooms. The first-floor open-plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge have large windows facing the water, with sliding glass doors opening onto the terrace. A separate snug with Smart TV and a small office add more space for large groups. Dogs are welcome.

Outside, a large lawn and patio lead to a garden-level shower and a charcoal BBQ for post-beach use. The first-floor terrace has lounge and dining furniture with open water views across the Polzeath surf and towards Pentire headland.

Rock is 2 miles south, where a water taxi crosses to Padstow. The coast path west from the house reaches St Enodoc Golf Club and the Camel Estuary in about 3 miles. Port Isaac is 6 miles north by road.

**Best for:** Large family groups or multi-generational gatherings wanting sea views, beach proximity, and flexible sleeping. **Less good for:** Couples or smaller groups - the property scale suits 8 or more guests.
