Penmarlam Lodge occupies a private corner of a holiday park near Lanteglos, the rural parish of farmland and creek woodland above the Fowey estuary. The single-storey property sleeps 4 in one double and one twin bedroom, each with its own en-suite shower room, giving both pairs private facilities.

Triple-aspect windows bring light into the open-plan lounge and kitchen, which opens onto a wraparound enclosed deck. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and dogs are welcome. There is no hot tub, pool or EV charging point, and step-free access is not confirmed.

The Hall Walk at Bodinnick begins half a mile from the park entrance and threads above Pont Pill creek. Penmarlam Boat Park facilities are also identified nearby, and Fowey itself, across the estuary, can be reached by a two-minute passenger ferry from Polruan.
