The Old Sunday School

The Old Sunday School is a converted stone cottage for four in the Lanteglos countryside, with Trenewan the nearest village. The building began life as a church school, and the conversion keeps its stone character while fitting a king-size bedroom and a twin upstairs, sharing one bathroom between them.

Two fires - a wood burner and an open fire - make this a cottage that earns its keep outside high summer. The front courtyard looks across open countryside, with a garden alongside it for warmer evenings. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher and EV charging are included, and one dog can stay. There is no washing machine, which is worth planning around on a longer visit.

The setting is rural rather than coastal, but three beaches sit within a short drive: Lantic Bay is 1.8 miles away, Lansallos Beach is 1.9 miles and Readymoney Cove is 2.2 miles. The South West Coast Path runs through this stretch, and Fowey's harbour, ferries and restaurants are close enough for regular evenings out.
