Crantock Beach is 0.9km in the other direction, across the Gannel estuary, reached via the seasonal footbridge or a short drive. The Pentire headland cliff walk runs from the development to the Gannel and back - a solid 2-3 mile loop with views across to Newquay bay. Town centre restaurants and bars are a 10-minute walk east.
