Pheasant View

Pheasant View is a single-storey 1-bedroom cottage in Penelewey, a hamlet just south of Carnon Downs between Truro and Falmouth. The cottage sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom with an en-suite bathroom - a straightforward layout that works well for couples or a pair of friends. Dogs are welcome, and the enclosed garden gives them somewhere to settle without needing constant supervision.

The cottage is part of the Grasshoppers development. WiFi, parking, dishwasher, and washing machine are all included. Changeover is Saturday.

Carnon Downs sits about equidistant between Truro city centre and Falmouth harbour - each roughly 15 minutes by car. Castle Beach in Falmouth is 5.4 miles away, with Gyllyngvase Beach at 5.7 miles and Swanpool Beach at 6 miles. St Mawes is 5.2 miles by road and offers good crab sandwiches and a castle viewpoint. Trelissick Garden, a National Trust property on the Fal estuary, is a short drive.

Ideal for dog-owning couples who want a quiet inland base with good access to both Truro's shops and the Roseland coast. Less good for anyone who prioritises short walks to the beach - this is an inland cottage and the nearest coast is a 15-minute drive. Not suited for more than 2 guests.
