Pippin is a 2-bedroom terraced cottage on Station Hill in Lelant, sleeping 3 with 1 bathroom. The inglenook fireplace with a wood burner is the defining feature - a deep recess that makes the sitting room genuinely warm and usable through autumn and winter, not just a decorative addition. The private garden to the rear is included.

Lelant sits at the mouth of the Hayle estuary, quieter than St Ives but connected to it by the branch-line railway. Lelant Saltings station is steps from the cottage; trains run to St Ives in under 10 minutes, which makes the car unnecessary for town visits and removes the St Ives parking problem entirely. Porthkidney Beach, a long low-tide beach on the estuary, is 0.8 miles on foot. Carbis Bay is 1.6 miles, and Porthminster Beach in St Ives is 2.5 miles.

WiFi and a dishwasher are included, and parking is on the road outside. The shower room is on the ground floor, with a flight of stairs up to the double and single bedrooms. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Changeover is Friday.

Ideal for couples or small families of 3 who want St Ives access without St Ives prices or parking stress. Good for shoulder and off-season stays given the inglenook wood burner. Works well for guests who appreciate the Lelant estuary walks as much as the beaches. Not great for groups larger than 3, or for anyone who needs a second bathroom.
