Porthallow

Porthallow's rear courtyard holds a two-seat hot tub for the cottage's guests alone. The cottage was completely remodelled and redecorated in September 2023, and it sits at Tresooth Cottages on the edge of Mawnan Smith, 3.0 miles from Penryn.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms, a double and a super-king, and each has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. The open-plan living area has a kitchen, a dining table for four and a sitting area with sofas and a TV. Kitchen equipment covers an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Wi-Fi and gas central heating are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are in the rent.

The games room, shared with the other cottages, has table tennis, a pool table and table football. There is also a shared outdoor heated swimming pool, open from Easter to the end of September with no lifeguard, where children need a parent or an adult over 18 beside them. The sauna and the indoor and outdoor hot tubs are open year-round, and a children's play area sits on site. Shared EV charging points are paid for through the Monta app.

Off-road parking is available. High chairs, travel cots and stair gates can be added for an extra charge. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and additional dogs are by prior arrangement with the owner. Smoking is not allowed. Hen and stag parties need approval before booking, and in the school summer holidays only 7-night bookings are taken. The shop is 0.5 miles away and the pub 1.8 miles. It suits couples and small families.
