Priests Cove, a small working harbour below Cape Cornwall, is 1.8km from the cottage. Cape Cornwall itself is the only cape in England - unlike headlands, it splits the Atlantic currents - marked by a former mine chimney on the clifftop. Gwynver Beach is 5km south, and Sennen Cove is 6.6km - both popular surf beaches with lifeguard cover in season.

This cottage suits walkers, surfers travelling with dogs, and couples who want direct coast path access from a working Cornish town rather than a tourist village. It is less good for families needing more than one bedroom, and Truthwall Lane is a rural location that requires a car for anything beyond the village.
