Rayle Farmhouse is a 5-bedroom period house near Portreath on Cornwall's north coast, sleeping 12 across 6 bathrooms. Portreath Beach - a firm-sand north coast beach with reliable Atlantic surf, RNLI lifeguards in summer, and rock pools at the western end - is 1.5 miles on foot, or a short drive. The village has a pub, a handful of cafes, and a beach shop. From Portreath, the Coast to Coast mineral tramway cycle route heads south 11 miles to Devoran on the Fal estuary - an easy, traffic-free ride across central Cornwall. For bigger surf, Trevaunance Cove near St Agnes is about 5 miles west.

**Best for:** Large family groups and multi-generational parties who need genuine bedroom variety, a hot tub, and space for the dog.

**Less good for:** Smaller groups of 4-6 who would find the 5-bedroom scale and associated cost unnecessary.
