Reddivallen Lakeside Hut

Reddivallen Lakeside Hut is a handcrafted shepherd's hut for two, set beside a private lake on a working farm near Trevalga and Boscastle. The wood-fired hot tub is the property's defining feature, heated on-site rather than run from an electric unit.

Inside, the hut holds a double bed and one bathroom - compact, and built for a couple rather than a family. A wood burner adds heat on cooler evenings, and WiFi is included. Dogs are not accepted, so this is not a booking for guests travelling with a pet. The little kitchen has a two-ring electric hob and a fridge, and the en-suite has a shower and WC. The patio has garden furniture and a fire pit.

Outside, the hot tub sits in the garden with the lake and surrounding farmland as the setting. Boscastle village is a little over a mile away. Bossiney Cove is 2.1 miles, Tregardock Beach is 4.5 miles and Crackington Haven is 5.8 miles, each within reach for a beach day. The South West Coast Path, Tintagel and Port Isaac extend the options for longer outings from the hut.

**Best for:** a couple wanting a private wood-fired hot tub, a quiet lakeside setting and wood-burner warmth for a low-key stay.

**Less good for:** guests travelling with a dog or requiring step-free access.
