Found right on the harbour slipway, this cottage has a quirky layout and tasteful contemporary decor inspired by its coastal setting. The property is found at the north-eastern tip of one of Cornwall’s most desirable towns, known for its fishing heritage, and arts and crafts. It’s best explored on foot, something that’s made easy by the cottage’s location; less than 0.5 miles from the esteemed Tate Galley, three different beaches, The Island peninsula (a great place to spot a large variety of seabirds), upmarket boutiques, restaurants serving every genre of cuisine from Thai to fish and chips, and the St Ives School of Painting. And if you wish to discover a larger radius of the country, beautifully scenic railway journeys can be taken from the station half a mile away.

Entering the pretty whitewashed property on the ground floor, the kitchen/diner has original beams and a fire surround painted for an up-to-date look. Seating six, the dining area is beside a large picture window offering views of the harbour just across the street. The first double bedroom and a WC are also found on this level. As the lounge is on the first floor, it enjoys an elevated view of the harbour - also via a picture window - as well as a wall-mounted TV and artwork depicting local scenes on the walls. A second double, a bedroom with bunk beds, a shower room, a bathroom and a second (separate) WC are also on the first floor.

While there is no garden at the property, the front door opens right onto the harbour, with the beach 150 metres away.
