Rosewall Retreat

Rosewall Retreat is a modern eco home spread over three floors within walking distance of St Ives, with countryside views towards Rosewall Hill and the old tin mines. The town centre, pubs, restaurants and beaches are within walking distance, with a 20-minute walk to the centre and a ten-minute walk to Leach Pottery. A bus stop is nearby for the climb back up.

The open-plan kitchen, living and dining room has underfloor heating, seating for six and a 43-inch TV. The kitchen has a double oven with a gas hob, dishwasher and coffee machine, and the utility room on the first floor has a washer/dryer and an ironing board. There are three bedrooms: two kings, each with an en-suite shower, and a twin. A family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom complete the layout. It sleeps six plus one infant, and a cot and highchair are provided for guests who bring their own cot bedding.

The enclosed landscaped garden has a patio and furniture, and the house has off-road parking for two cars. There is no electric charge point, and charging from the property is prohibited. Short stays are available, but bookings are accepted only for holiday use. No pets and no smoking.

It suits families, including several generations together, and couples or friends sharing; the three floors make it less good for anyone who wants to avoid stairs.
