Sandwaves is a two-bedroom apartment within the Carbis Beach Apartments complex in Carbis Bay, sleeping four with two bathrooms and sea views across the bay towards Hayle. Carbis Bay beach is 400 metres downhill - a sheltered, south-facing cove with Blue Flag water quality and a dedicated lifeguard station from May to September.

The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, and a shared garden area. No washing machine is included in this unit. Dogs are not accepted. The south-facing aspect means the living area catches afternoon sun from around 1pm on clear days, and the sea-view aspect is from the main living area rather than the bedrooms.

Porthkidney beach and Porthminster beach are both 1.8km away along the coast. St Ives is roughly a mile along the South West Coast Path or a single stop on the St Ives Bay branch line from Carbis Bay station - a 10-minute walk from the apartment. The branch line runs roughly every 30 minutes in peak season. St Ives town has over 20 restaurants and galleries concentrated around the harbour and Fore Street.

Best for couples or two-family groups who want sea views and easy beach access without a car - the train connection puts St Ives within 5 minutes without the hassle of summer parking, which can cost upwards of £18 a day in the town's main car parks. Not suited to guests travelling with dogs or those who need a washing machine on-site.
