Sapphire Cottage

Sapphire Cottage is a granite two-bedroom cottage in St Ives for three guests. One double room and one single share a bathroom, giving a couple and one additional guest - a child or solo traveller - permanent beds without relying on a sofa bed.

WiFi, parking, a washing machine and a garden for outdoor dining are included. The lounge has a TV, a rocking chair and a desk area, and the kitchen/diner has a table. The shower room is on the first floor. Up to two dogs can stay, and the granite exterior is typical of the older cottages that line St Ives' back streets.

Porthmeor Beach, home to the Tate St Ives gallery, Porthminster Beach and St Ives Harbour Beach are each 800 metres away, putting three of the town's four beaches within easy walking distance. Art galleries cluster at a similar distance, reflecting the artists' colony that has worked in St Ives' Atlantic light since the 1880s.

The cottage sleeps three across two bedrooms and one bathroom, with parking included for guests arriving by car.

**Best for:** A couple with one additional guest wanting laundry facilities, parking, a garden and room for two dogs within 800 metres of three beaches.

**Less good for:** Guests expecting more than one bathroom or confirmed step-free access.
