Carbis Bay beach - a 500-metre arc of pale north-facing sand with Blue Flag status - is directly below the cottage. St Ives is 1.2 miles along the South West Coast Path, or one stop on the St Ives Bay branch line from Carbis Bay halt. Porthminster Beach, with its cafe and calmer water, is 1.2 miles in the same direction. The Carbis Bay Hotel spa is a short walk along the headland. Changeover is Saturday.

Best for couples or small families who want a clifftop base with straightforward beach access and St Ives within walking distance. Less good for those wanting a dog-friendly property - dogs are not accepted here.
